The Pyramid Field of Giza has been an important cemetery since the 1st Dynasty, which dates from around 2620 to 2500 BC. The Pyramids of Giza are among the most famous and oldest surviving structures in human history and stand on the western edge of the Nile Valley. The largest and probably most famous pyramid is that of Pharaoh Cheops. It was built from around three million stone blocks. The middle pyramid is that of Pharaoh Chephren, and the smallest of the three pyramids of Giza is that of Pharaoh Menkaure. Be impressed by these stunning structures and enjoy a fantastic view of Cairo from the plateau. Afterwards, we continue to the famous Sphinx.
Sphinx of Giza
By far the most famous and largest sphinx, it depicts a reclining lion with a human head and was probably built during the 4th Dynasty, around 2520 to 2494 BC. It has risen from the sands of the Egyptian desert for more than four millennia. The sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops.

The Egyptian Museum
Cairo is the world's largest museum of ancient Egyptian art and culture. It is located on Al-Tahir Square in downtown Cairo and was built in 1900. It opened in 1902. With more than 150,000 artifacts, it now houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian art. It spans two floors with over 100 rooms. Learn more about all the artifacts on display from your guide.

This trip was fantastic. Our guide Ragab was extremely knowledgeable and gave us amazing information throughout the day. He was brilliant, took photos for us, etc. and knew the area very well. On her recommendation, we went on a camel ride and were not disappointed; it was fantastic. The private vehicle was air-conditioned and comfortable, and I slept the whole way from Hurghada to Cairo! Every detail was perfectly organized; the private driver Mohamed, who we had when we arrived in Cairo, was also brilliant. We highly recommend you do the camel ride and, if you are able, go inside the pyramid. It was very challenging and steep, but I am glad I went in. All in all, extremely good value for money and I highly recommend this trip or Ragab.

First of all, I have to say that we really liked this all-round package. We had already contacted them two days in advance via WhatsApp. However, I have to differentiate between the arrival and the tour: My wife, our son (15), and I were picked up promptly at 2:00 a.m. from our hotel in Hurghada by a private minibus. The bus ride was very interesting for us; we really enjoyed it. In Cairo, we were greeted by Shaehata, our guide. Our vehicle was in mint condition and air-conditioned. We immediately went to Giza. We also received a pleasant city tour (including commentary) through this mega-city. Shehata then introduced us to the Giza Plateau and Egyptian history. Everything was wonderful, thank you very much.

An incredible excursion with a very friendly private driver and excellent driving skills, with little touches along the way (drinks, food, and breaks available upon request). Upon arrival in Cairo, our private guide, Ali (Facebook: Cairo Guide), gave us a magical tour of the entire site of the Pyramids of Giza (photos, panoramic views, tips on how to avoid scams on site, and negotiations with the souvenir seller). He is a very good guide who speaks excellent German and shares his passion for Egyptian history with us. A truly fantastic guide, and we highly recommend him. The driver accompanied us throughout the day in a very nice, spacious, and air-conditioned vehicle. The lunch restaurant was excellent, with Egyptian specialties. In the afternoon, we were free to shop as we pleased. Finally, we ended up at the Egyptian Museum, where the guide once again demonstrated his interest in Egyptian history.

It was a very beautiful day. We were picked up from the hotel on time by a private vehicle. There was plenty of room, so we were able to sleep well on the journey. In Cairo, we met up with the guide, who explained everything very well and also showed us some very interesting, off-the-beaten-path spots near the pyramids. Then we went to lunch and then to the Egyptian Museum. The tour of the Egyptian Museum was also very good and interesting. The return journey was very relaxing thanks to the spacious car and the good driver.

Very well-organized tour. Our guide, Aly, was excellent, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and kept parents and children interested throughout the day. It was a long 20 hours—a long drive from Makadi to Cairo and back—but the drivers were excellent in the hectic Cairo traffic—and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!
