Swimming with turtles from Hurghada
Relax on the beach, explore the underwater world, and encounter turtles in the azure waters of the Red Sea. Abu Dabbab is a very special biome with mangroves, salt marshes, and coral reefs. There are many giant tortoises, parrotfish, bayonet fish, pufferfish, rockfish, clownfish (Nemo), reef moray eels, and schools of colorful sailfish. With a little luck, you might see the majestic dogo, a sea cow that can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh over 300 kilograms. Snorkel in Abu Dabbab. Abu Dabbab, Dugong Bay, is a nature reserve north of Marsa Alam on the Red Sea coast and is known for its turtles. In Abu Dabbab, you have the opportunity to swim with turtles and dugongs, also known as sea cows.
- Abu Dabbab Snorkeling Trip Itinerary: If you want to see turtles in the wild, then you must visit Abu Dabbab, south of Hurghada.
- Transfer to Abu Dabbab Snorkeling Trip: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. A three-hour drive will take you to the beautiful beach.
- Abu Dabbab Beach: Once there, you can relax in your lounger or go snorkeling. The vast seagrass meadows are home to several species of large sea turtles. With a bit of luck, you might also spot a resident manatee (dumpling) or a stingray. The gently sloping bay is ideal for snorkeling.
- LunchYou can then recharge your batteries at the lunch buffet.
